The number of hashes that can be generated in one second is what determines a computer’s Hash Rate, which may be expressed as kH/s, MH/s, GH/s, TH/s, PH/s, or EH/s.
It goes like this: 1,000 kH/s is equal to one MH/s, 1,000 MH/s is equal to one GH/s, and so on.
