The blockchain is a digital record of every cryptocurrency transaction that has ever been made. It is made up of distinct blocks connected to one another by a cryptographic signature. A new block is added to the chain whenever a block’s capacity is actually reached. The blockchain must always match each other because it is repeatedly duplicated and saved onto thousands of computers around the globe. It is regarded as decentralized because there is no master copy kept in a single place at any time.
